Fahan School is spread across one sprawling 6.2 hectare campus in the attractive Hobart suburb of Sandy Bay - just a ten minute drive from Hobart's CBD.

Situated on the banks of the River Derwent and hidden from the view of the main road, the School's blend of historic and award-winning modern buildings, coupled with the outstanding gardens and grounds, create an inspiring, nurturing and secure environment where your daughter can study and make friends. At Fahan we take advantage of our proximity to the water, making the most of water-based sports including sailing, rowing and surfing as well as using our environment to inspire creativity, showcasing the spectacular views from our Visual Arts Studio and Music School.
The single campus advantage means that our youngest through to our oldest students learn together in one caring community. It is only a short walk for students to move between the Early Learning Centre, Junior and Senior Schools.
The Early Learning Centre is located at the Churchill Avenue end of the School.
A short walk down towards the central campus takes you to the Junior School, including the recently opened Years 5- 6 development and also houses the Travers Morphett Hall and Travers Morphett Junior Library. This is adjacent to the award-winning Gymnasium and Music School on one side and the Science facilities and Senior visual art studio on the other.
Situated further down towards the Sandy Bay Road side of the campus is the spacious Senior Library, Canteen, Food Technology and Digital Technology Hub. Positioned just a few steps away from the canteen you will find the Senior School buildings, which also houses the 'South Room' and the front office. This complex is adjacent to the stately Nateby House and the 'Boarders' Flat'. The tennis courts and oval lie in front of the car park and overlook the River Derwent.
