Carla Peacock is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from the University of Tasmania. In her final year of study, she was selected for the Teacher Intern Placement Program, which led to a permanent teaching position at Brighton Primary School. Over the years, Carla has worked in various roles within the Department of Education, Children and Young People, including Teacher Assistant, Classroom Teacher for Years K-6, and Learning Support Teacher. Carla has a particular passion for teaching Maths and Science. In 2023, she joined the leadership team at Brighton Primary School as an Advanced Skills Teacher. In 2024, Carla took time to travel around Europe and Australia and spent six months teaching a Year 5 class at Highgate Primary School in WA. During this time, she gained valuable experience teaching English as an Additional Language or Dialect.

Carla is a proud alumna of Fahan School, where she completed her studies from 2001 to 2015. She is thrilled to return to her alma mater and contribute to its rich tradition of educational excellence. With a strong commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments, Carla has extensive experience working with students with additional needs. She is dedicated to ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or ability, has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
