Our rowers have had some fantastic results over the last few months with their hard work over the entire season paying off in the Lake.
The Tasmanian State Club Championships at Lake Barrington on 19-20 February saw some terrific efforts from all our rowers with wins for the Open Eight and 1st Open Four as well as the Under 16 Pair, Open Pairs, Under 15 Double Scull, Under 15 Single Scull. Our Under 16 and Open rowers also competed in the our Under 19 Women’s Coxed Four took out the Jack Elling Shield and the Under 19 Women’s Pair winning the Viv Roger Trophy. Wonderful results all round!
They also had a fantastic weekend at the Tasmanian All Schools Rowing Championships at Lake Barrington in the north of the State. There were some spectacular results across the board with all age groups putting in their best efforts. Some particular highlights were the following crews who placed first across the State:
Opens Pair – 1st
Firsts Four - 1st
Seconds Four - 1st
Under 15 Double Scull – 1st
Under 15 Single Scull - 1st
