Year 7 Drama Performances

During the first week of September our Year 7 girls presented performances of Witches and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory based on the books by Roald Dahl in the TM Hall.

The creative development was inspiring and the process included puppet workshops with Mel King, rap workshops with Max Bladel and dance choreography with Angela Barnard. Benjamin Nelan created the stunning 3D visual set, Brendon Veronese was the Production Manager and Fahan Drama teacher, Christine Best, was Director.

The students’ performances were exceptional, and it was a fantastic opportunity for our students to work with these outstanding Hobart artists. The girls’ energy and commitment were exhibited in all their performances, and they are to be congratulated. Well done to all involved!
