The December/January edition of one of Tasmania’s most popular magazines, Tasmanian Life, features a social page spread on the Fahan School Alumni Association’s 75th Anniversary Lunch from October. There are beautiful photos that capture the excitement of the Fahan ‘girls.’
In addition to the social pages spread there is also a lovely write-up on the community service work that has been undertaken by our 2010 student community from Kindergarten to Year 12 and a column on Fahan Alumna, and 2010 Gerdy Jevtic recipient, Alice Bennet on pages 66-67.
The broad readership that this publication has will ensure that many of our Alumni who were unable to be present at the Anniversary Lunch can experience some of the fun by viewing the photographs of their fellow ‘Fahanies.’
This is a fitting end to the year of 2010 in which the Fahan community has celebrated many achievements including the School’s momentous 75th anniversary.
